We named our adopted female ChowChow "Beebee", but she did not like it so we tried "Sunny" but everyone who met her asked: "If she is Sunny then where is Cher ? ... Ha ha ha ..." so that name didn't work plus she didn't like that name either. Both the new dogs LOVE dirt and mud so my wife thought that we should call the girl "Mud Puddle" and the boy "Dirt Clod" but the neighbors would think we were weird (like they don't already). Then my wife thought of "Lucy" after the famous comedian Lucille Ball because Lucy was very pretty but she was always getting into trouble ... kind of like our dog. So the new official name for our girl ChowChow dog is Lucy (she is the white one) and the boy is still Smokey Bear .... just so you know .... Happy Thanksgiving everybody ... now go eat a lot of stuff .... Scott Sutton Author, illustrator

On Monday 11 November My wife, Susie and I adopted 2 new Chow Chow puppies. The boy is named Smoky Bear and he is smokey brown color. He is 2 years old. The other is a girl named Beebee and she is a beautiful cream color. She is 8 months old. We were only going to get one dog but these two are best buddies and we just could not separate them. We have a big fenced yard and they run around like crazy and they are AWESOME .... If you want to adopt a certain breed of dog check to see if there is a rescue place in your area. These people rescue dogs of that breed and find good homes for them. Our dogs are rescues. The best dogs to get are rescues. If you want a dog rescue one. I think they make the best pets.
